Thanks for Nothing x Louvre

On Friday 20th September, AFIELD was invited to the Symposium of Art and Philanthropy organized by Thanks For Nothing at the Musée du Louvre. The symposium goal was to think about the links between artistic practice and citizen action, by presenting the innovative initiatives from committed actors in the world of art, academics and associations​.​

Sandra Terdjman, co-founder of AFIELD was in conversation with Caracas-based architect Ana Vargas, who was awarded the 2018 AFIELD Fellowship for her initiative Trazando Espacios.

Other inspiring participants were Tomás Saraceno, Markus Reymann from TBA21-Academy, Muy-Cheng Peich and Augustin Trapenard from Bibliothèques Sans Frontières or Michel Simon from Link Endowment Fund among others.

The event brought together 500 artists, gallerists, philosophers, journalists and association leaders among others in the Auditorium du Louvre.
